What's Kastrat?

Kastrat (ID: Kajian dan Aksi Strategis; EN: Strategic Assessment and Action), sebuah divisi dari Ikatan Mahasiswa Mesin Universitas Indonesia yang yang mendorong mahasiswa mesin untuk berpikir kritis dan kreatif, membuka wawasan dan juga meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa mesin tak terpaku hanya tentang teknologi saja, juga poleksosbudhankamkes yang mana merupakan isu isu yang selalu kita hadapi dalam kehidupan sehari hari.

Kastrat (ID: Kajian dan Aksi Strategis; EN: Strategic Assessment and Action), a division in Mechanical Engineering Student Organization Universitas Indonesia (non-profitable) which encourages Mechanical Students to think critically and creatively, broadens their horizons and also increases their literacy, not only about tech, but as well as politics, economy, social, culture, defense, security, and health, which are issues we always face in everyday life.
My Role in Kastrat

Kontribusi saya di Kastrat telah berlangsung selama dua tahun kepengurusan. Pada tahun pertama saya belajar sangat banyak tentang desain grafis, dibantu oleh senior-senior yang yang menjadi ketua bidang dan ahli desain sehingga dalam waktu singkat saya sudah bisa menguasai banyak sotware desain dan juga konsep dari sebah desain.
Pada tahun kedua, senior-senior telah selesai masa jabatannya, maka angkatan saya yang selanjutnya bertanggung jawab untuk organisasi ini, terutama pada bidang ini. Dibantu oleh dua teman saya sebagai wakil dan ketua bidang, dan juga seorang teman saya sebagai penasihat penulisan artikel, saya melanjutkan sebagai ahli desain dan menjadi tutor desain untuk junior selanjutnya.
Dua tahun kepengurusan saya, telah membangun rasa memiliki saya terhadap bidang ini, sehingga ketika acara perpisahan akan tiba, saya mengajak teman-teman saya untuk membuat proyek ini sebagai poster kenang-kenangan untuk bidang kesayangan kita ini.

My role in Kastrat has been going for two years of management. In the first year, I've learned so much about graphic design, assisted by my seniors as a Head of Division and the design expert, so that I can learn about the designing software and the concept of design quickly.
In the second year, our seniors complete their periods, and my batch take over the management of this org. especially this division. Assisted by two of my friends as vice and the head of division, and a friend as an articles editor, I continue as a design expert and as a tutor for our next juniors.
Two years of management had built me chemistry to all of its component, the people, the project, the vibes and the pride to this division. Therefore, when the farewell party was about to come, I ask my friends to start this project to be exhibit in the farewell party as a remembrance of our beloved division.

Tujuan dari projek ini untuk membuat poster kenang-kenangan sebagai dekorasi pada acara malam perpisahan Periode 2018, Mechfare (Mechanical Farewell), dengan tema acara "Wild West".
